On 06.09.2021 about 5000 people belonging to OBC Communities conducted a Slogan Shouting demonstration at Saidapet, Chennai. Important Community leaders addressed the gathering 10.5% Vanniar special quota was the central focus of the agitation. The participants were very much against the 10.5% sub-quota given to Vanniars since it very much affected the opportunities of the rest of the OBC-Communities. Further out was pointed out that the said quota was given for political reasons without any data – rationality. Our organization spearheaded the agitation.
