SFRBC Launching Event
Society for the Rights of Backward Communities, which is shortly known as SFRBC. The society was launched on January 18th, 2021. All the leaders of backward communities have participated in the event.

Coimbatore Fasting Protest
SFRBC conducted a fasting protest at Coimbatore Sivanandha Colony on February 8, 2021. This fasting protest has been conducted against the 10.5 percent reservation allotted to the Vanniyar community by the Tamil Nadu government.

Chennai Protest
The Society for the Rights of Backward Communities staged a protest in Chennai on September 6, 2021. The purpose of this demonstration is to conduct a caste census and repeal the Tamil Nadu government’s 10.5 percent vanniyar quota.

OBC Rights Day – Public Meeting
On May 1, 2022, the Society for the Rights of Backward Communities conducted a slogan-shouting demonstration in Siddhapudhur, Coimbatore. This protest aims to oppose the 10.5 percent reservation for the Vanniyar community and the caste census.

Madurai Manadu
An event called The Greatest Madurai Manadu took place on August 7, 2022. There were about 10,000 participants in the manadu, which took place in Madurai. The leaders of all the backward communities from different districts took part and protested against the Tamil Nadu government to take community based caste census.

Chennai Valluvar Kottam Demonstration
On May 29, 2023, a demonstration was held by society for the rights of backward communities to support the rights of underprivileged populations.The demonstration’s goal is to oppose the government’s 10 percent reservation for economically weaker sections.
