The Ramakrishna Mission Students’ Home, also known as “The Palace for the Poor”, provides free education, food, shelter, and medical care to children in need. The home was founded in 1905 by Sri C. Ramasami Ayyangar.

History of the Home

The home was founded in 1905 by Sri C.Ramasami Ayyangar and administered by the monks of the Ramakrishna Order. It was made a branch center of the Mission in 1918.
