Admission Process: How to Apply at AMU
Getting admission at AMU involves a centralized online process:
Step 1: Check Eligibility
- For UG courses: 10+2 with required subjects (e.g., PCM for B.Tech, PCB for MBBS).
- For PG courses: Relevant bachelor’s degree.
- For Ph.D.: Master’s degree in a relevant discipline.
Step 2: Entrance Exams
- Engineering (B.Tech): AMUEEE or CUET.
- Medical (MBBS/BDS): NEET-UG.
- Law: AMU Law Entrance Test or CUET.
- Other UG/PG courses: AMU Entrance Exams / CUET.
Step 3: Application Submission
- Visit the official AMU Online Admission Portal: https://oaps.amuonline.ac.in/register
- Register with email & mobile → Fill application form → Upload documents → Pay fees online.
Step 4: Selection
- Merit lists based on entrance exams/qualifying marks are published.
- Counseling and seat allocation follow.
Step 5: Final Admission
- Pay the course fees, submit documents, and join classes/hostels.
