The Indian Institute of Petroleum and Energy (IIPE), situated in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, is a premier institute focused on education and research in petroleum, energy, and related fields. Admission Process
1. For B.Tech Programs
- Admissions are through JEE Advanced.
- Applicants need to clear JEE Main and obtain a valid rank in JEE Advanced to be eligible for IIPE counseling.
2. For M.Tech Programs
- Selection is based on GATE scores in relevant disciplines.
- Shortlisted candidates may also go through interviews or written tests, depending on the department.
3. For Ph.D. Programs
- Admission is through GATE/NET scores, followed by an interview.
- Candidates with industry experience or sponsored research projects are also considered.
