AICTE – Swanath Scholarship Scheme (Technical Diploma/Degree) , initiated by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE),
aims to offer financial support to students enrolled in recognized technical institutions pursuing either a diploma or degree.
Eligibility extends to orphans, those who lost parents to COVID-19, and wards of armed forces and central paramilitary forces personnel martyred in action.
Successful applicants stand to receive a maximum of ₹50,000 annually.
Eligibility of the Scholarship:
– Applicant must be an Indian national.
-These children have been impacted by COVID-19, with one or both parents succumbing to the virus, or they are wards of Armed Forces and Central Paramilitary Forces personnel who have been martyred in action (Shaheed).
-These children should actively enroll in a degree/diploma course at an AICTE-approved institution in regular mode, whether they are in the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year of their studies.
– Must not be a recipient of any central/state government or sponsored scholarship.
– Family income should be less than ₹8,00,000 per annum.
Benefits of the Scholarship:
Selected candidates will receive a lump sum of ₹50,000 per annum for each year of their study to cover college fees, and purchase of essential items like computers, stationeries, books, equipment, software, etc. No additional grants will be provided for hostel charges, medical expenses, etc.
Note:
For students currently enrolled in the 2nd/3rd/4th year of a degree program, we will adjust the scholarship duration to 1/2/3 years, respectively. Similarly, for students in the 2nd/3rd year of a diploma program, we will adjust the scholarship duration to 1/2 years, respectively.
Application process of Scholarship:
- Start by clicking on the ‘Apply Now’ link provided.
- If you’re not registered yet, click on the ‘Register’ button and enter the required details. If already registered, log in using your Gmail, Mobile number, or Email ID.
- Navigate to the ‘Applicant Corner’ and select the ‘New Registration’ tab.
- Read the details carefully, tick the checkbox, and proceed by clicking on the ‘Continue’ button.
- Enter your mobile number, captcha code, and OTP, then submit the information.
- Fill in all the necessary details and click on ‘Save & Register’ to finish the registration process.
- Access the ‘Fresh Application’ tab and log in using your application ID and password.
- Complete the application by providing all required details, uploading the necessary documents, and submitting the form.
Note: Ensure all information is accurate before submission, as no changes can be made afterward. Submit only one application, as multiple submissions will result in cancellation.
