The University of Sydney provides an opportunity through the Sydney Scholars India Scholarship Program 2023 for Indian undergraduate and postgraduate applicants. This program intends to foster engagement between the university, which is actively investing in research, and industry collaborations, and strengthening its commitment to education in partnership with India. They will award 28 scholarships, each valued up to AUD 40,000, to selected students for a specific duration, enabling them to realize their full potential.
Eligibility:-
To qualify, the applicant must:
– Hold Indian citizenship and currently reside in India.
– Meet the criteria of an international student as defined in the Higher Education Support Act 2003.
– Must have obtained an unconditional offer of admission to an undergraduate or postgraduate coursework degree at the University of Sydney.
Note: The scholarship does not apply to candidates who are permanent residents of Australia or have previously been recipients of the University of Sydney India Scholarship.
Benefits:-
The university will annually grant a total of 28 scholarships, including:
– 3 scholarships offering AUD 40,000 per annum for any undergraduate student, applicable for up to four years.
– 10 scholarships providing AUD 20,000 for first-year undergraduate and postgraduate students.
– 15 scholarships awarding AUD 10,000 for first-year undergraduate and postgraduate students.
