CBSE Merit Scholarship Scheme for Single Girl Child

The CBSE Merit Scholarship Scheme offers the CBSE Merit Scholarship for Single Girl Child, providing an opportunity to financially support single girls who have completed CBSE Class 10 from any CBSE-affiliated school. This scholarship aims to assist bright single girls, who are the sole child in their families, in pursuing further education. The selected girls will receive a monthly grant of INR 500 for a maximum of two years.

Eligibility:-

To be eligible for the scholarship, you need to meet the following criteria:

1. You must be an Indian citizen.

2. You should be the only girl child in your family.

3. You must have scored 60% or more in the first five subjects of your Class 10 examination.

4. Currently, you should be studying in Class 11 or 12 at a CBSE-affiliated school where the monthly tuition fee does not exceed INR 1,500.

NOTE:

– Non-resident Indian (NRI) applicants from the Board are eligible for the scholarship.

– The maximum tuition fee for NRIs is capped at INR 6,000 per month.

– Selected students will be awarded a scholarship of INR 500 per month for a maximum period of 2 years.

(The money will be sent to the chosen girl students using ECS/NEFT transfer.)

Documents Needed:-
  • A completed and verified affidavit (original) from a first-class Judicial Magistrate/SDM/Executive Magistrate/Notary,
  • A confirmed statement from the school principal where the student is currently enrolled.
Ways to apply:-

To apply for the scholarship, eligible candidates can follow these steps:

Log in to https://www.buddy4study.com/scholarships.

1. Press the ‘Apply Now’ button.

2. Click ‘Register’ and provide the necessary details (Note: If already registered, log in using Gmail/Mobile number/Email ID).

3. Click the ‘Apply Online’ tab next to ‘Single Girl Child Scholarship – 2023 (Fresh Application)’.

4. Enter your roll number and date of birth (as per 10th mark sheet).

5. Carefully fill in all details and submit the form( * ).

6. Print the provided undertaking in the ‘Guidelines’ document, fill it out, attach a photo, and get it verified by the school.

7. Prepare an affidavit following the format in the Guidelines document.

8. Click ‘Upload Document’ and upload scanned documents in a single PDF file (1 MB limit).

9. Choose ‘Confirmation Page’ to print and generate the confirmation page.
