A deep analysis of the states of OBCs in Tamil Nadu was done by a group of OBC – Activists and outstanding Academicians in light  Rohini Commission for Sub-Categorizations and the demand of Pattali Makkal Katchi (PMK) for 25% reservation to Vanniar Community. None of the political parties or Community leaders in Tamil Nadu had any knowledge or genuine concern for OBC – Communities in Tamil Nadu. The basis or principle reason was that everyone was after power and money. People belonging to Other Backward Class Communities are not aware of the Constitutional guarantee given to them. So, after taking stock of every fact, we felt the strong need for creating a non-political, organization for OBCs. The task of this organization is to unite OBC – Communities and to achieve the Constitutional guarantee/mandate.
