On May 11, 2025, the Society for the Rights of Backward Communities (SFRBC) organized a Mega Online Scholarship Examination through its official platform obcrights.org to spread awareness on constitutional and statutory rights.
The examination was conducted as an online Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) test, enabling smooth and wide participation from students across regions.
The initiative witnessed strong participation, reflecting the growing interest among backward community students in rights-based education.
Candidates were shortlisted through the online MCQ examination followed by a final interview process, ensuring transparency and merit-based selection.
The scholarship program featured prizes worth lakhs of rupees, including a ₹1 lakh cash award along with a 5-day international trip to Thailand (Bangkok).
Second and third prize winners received ₹75,000 and ₹50,000 respectively, along with recognition for their performance.
Additionally, ten consolation awards offered scholarships of not less than ₹30,000 to support college education.
The Award Ceremony was held on July 27, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, in Erode, celebrating achievement and empowerment.
A special highlight of the evening was a unique Lucky Draw Contest, adding excitement to the celebration.
Three participants were selected and each received ₹10,000 as a surprise reward.
The event stood as a powerful testament to SFRBC’s commitment to education, equality, and empowerment through awareness.
