Details of NCF Unnati Scholarship Scheme

The NCF Unnati Scholarship Scheme, provided by the National Children Funds under the Ministry of Women and Child Development, is available for students in post-matric levels residing in Child Care Institutions (CCIs). Successful applicants will be awarded a scholarship of INR 1,000 and an annual book grant of INR 1,000 so the total Scholarship per year is Rs.13,000/-

Eligibility:-

  • Residents in Child Care Institutions (CCIs) registered under the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act, 2015.
  • The candidate should Pursue education from Class 9 and above.
  • They should be a minimum of 55% marks in the final examination of the previous academic year.
  • There should be a minimum of 75% attendance on an annual basis.
  • Have an Aadhaar-linked savings bank account in a Nationalized Bank.

Benefits:-

– Selected candidates will receive a monthly scholarship of INR 1,000.

– An annual book grant of INR 1,000 is also provided.

– The total scholarship amount per year is INR 13,000.

– Recipients will be awarded a Certificate of Appreciation annually.

Documents Needed:-
  • Give copies of the organization’s rules and regulations, showing how it’s structured and who is authorized to handle the bank account,
  • Share a bank passbook copy with the organization’s name, account number, and IFSC Code,
  • Provide audited financial statements, covering income, expenses, and overall financial status, for the last three years,
  • Include annual reports for the past three years from the Child Care Institution.
Methods for applying to the NCF Unnati Scholarship Scheme :
To apply for each child, the CCI person in charge should follow these steps:
  • Press the ‘Apply Now’ button underneath and thoroughly review all the provided information.
  • Register by clicking on the ‘Register’ button on the right side of the dashboard, providing the necessary details. (Note: If you have already registered, please log in using the email ID you used for registration.)
  • Download the application form from the provided link.
