The NCF Unnati Scholarship Scheme, provided by the National Children Funds under the Ministry of Women and Child Development, is available for students in post-matric levels residing in Child Care Institutions (CCIs). Successful applicants will be awarded a scholarship of INR 1,000 and an annual book grant of INR 1,000 so the total Scholarship per year is Rs.13,000/-
Eligibility:-
- Residents in Child Care Institutions (CCIs) registered under the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act, 2015.
- The candidate should Pursue education from Class 9 and above.
- They should be a minimum of 55% marks in the final examination of the previous academic year.
- There should be a minimum of 75% attendance on an annual basis.
- Have an Aadhaar-linked savings bank account in a Nationalized Bank.
Benefits:-
– Selected candidates will receive a monthly scholarship of INR 1,000.
– An annual book grant of INR 1,000 is also provided.
– The total scholarship amount per year is INR 13,000.
– Recipients will be awarded a Certificate of Appreciation annually.
Documents Needed:-
- Give copies of the organization’s rules and regulations, showing how it’s structured and who is authorized to handle the bank account,
- Share a bank passbook copy with the organization’s name, account number, and IFSC Code,
- Provide audited financial statements, covering income, expenses, and overall financial status, for the last three years,
- Include annual reports for the past three years from the Child Care Institution.

To apply for each child, the CCI person in charge should follow these steps:
