SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Examination (SRMJEE) is a computer-based test for admission to B. Tech programs at SRM Institute. Eligibility criteria for SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Examination (SRMJEE) :
Nationality: Applicants should be Indian residents, Non-Resident Indians (NRIs), or holders of PIO or OCI cards issued by the Government of India.
Qualifying Exam: A minimum of 60% or equivalent score in Class 10 is required. Additionally, candidates must achieve a 60% or equivalent grade in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in their Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) from any recognized Indian education board.
- Candidates with an International Baccalaureate (IB) diploma, IB certificate, or University of Cambridge General Certificate of Education (GCE) A-level must also score 60% or equivalent, with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
- Class 12 appearing students are eligible, provided they secure 60% or equivalent in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
Age Limit: Candidates should be 16 years or older by July 31 of the calendar year in which they are appearing for the 12 Board examinations.
Direct Admission: The institute offers direct admission and scholarships to 1st rank holders of all Central and State boards in India. The top 1000 rankers in IIT JEE in the district of Tamil Nadu, along with exemplary sportspersons at the National and International level, are eligible for direct admission.
Kashmiri Migrants: Candidates belonging to Kashmiri migrants are eligible for relaxation in SRMJEEE admission criteria.
