The Kotak Suraksha Scholarship Program, created by Kotak Securities, aims to assist deserving students with disabilities in India by providing financial aid for their education. Eligible students in grades 9 through 12 and those pursuing undergraduate degrees can receive scholarships of up to INR 1,00,000 per year.
Eligibility of this Scholarship:
- Open to students with disabilities (PwD).
- Applicants must be pursuing general or professional graduation courses.
- Minimum requirement of securing 55% marks in the previous academic year.
- The annual family income of applicants should not exceed INR 3,20,000.
- Applicants from all over India are eligible (PAN India).
- Individuals who are offspring of employees working at Kotak Securities, its affiliates, or Buddy4Study are ineligible for The Kotak Suraksha Scholarship Program.
Benefits of this scholarship:
The scholarship offers a maximum of INR 1,00,000 per year.
Documents need for this Scholarship:
- Proof of identity required: Aadhaar card, Ration card, Voter’s ID card.
- Current year admission proof needed: fee receipt, admission letter, institution identity card, and Bonafide certificate.
- Class 10 and 12 mark sheets.
- Previous academic year mark sheets.
- Family income proof options:
- Proof of income provided by the Gram Panchayat, with both signature and stamp, is required.
- Income proof issued by Tehsildar/BDP (for rural areas).
- Certificate for income from agriculture, horticulture, and veterinary sources.
- Affidavit for orphans/single parent child.
- Last three months’ salary slips/ITR/Form 16.
- Below Poverty Line (BPL)/Ration Card.
- Details of the bank account belonging to either the applicant or their parent must be provided.
- A recent photograph is required.

4. You’ll then be directed to the ‘Kotak Suraksha Scholarship Program application form page.
5. Start the application process by clicking on the ‘Start Application’ button.
6. Complete all the necessary fields in the online form.
7. Upload the necessary documents.
8. Agree to the ‘Terms and Conditions’ and proceed to the ‘Preview’ section.
9. Review all the details on the preview screen. If everything is correct, click on the ‘Submit’ button to finish the application process.
