ASEM-DUO Sweden Fellowship Program, sponsored by the Swedish Council for Higher Education (UHR) under the Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM), provides financial assistance for exchange semesters to undergraduate and graduate students from Asian countries and Sweden. Participants travel in pairs, comprising one student from Sweden and one from an Asian ASEM member country, fostering balanced academic exchanges and cultural understanding. Selected students are eligible for a fellowship of up to €4000 for a single semester.
Eligibility of Sweden Fellowship:
- Must be a citizen of one of the 21 ASEM member countries in Asia, such as India, Bangladesh, China, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Mongolia, the Philippines, Thailand, or Vietnam
- Possess a valid passport
- Be enrolled at an Asian university that has an existing exchange agreement with a Swedish university
