Oxford and Cambridge Society of India Scholarship (OCSI), UK, provided by the not-for-profit alumni organization, the Oxford and Cambridge Society of India (OCSI), presents an opportunity for Indian students applying to pursue undergraduate, second undergraduate, postgraduate, and research studies in the
US and UK. Successful applicants, upon securing admission to the University of Oxford and the University of Cambridge for the academic year 2023-24, will be awarded up to INR 4,00,000 along with additional benefits.

Eligibility:-

To qualify, applicants must meet the following criteria:

– Reside in India.

– Be below 30 years of age as of September 1 in the year of applying for the award.

– You should hold a graduate degree from an Indian university if applying for a second undergraduate or postgraduate course, or be a current school student in an Indian institution if applying for an undergraduate course.

– Have successfully applied for and gained admission to a full-time course at the University of Cambridge or the University of Oxford.

– Express the intention to pursue one of the following courses of study:

  • Research leading to a Ph.D. degree
  • One-year postgraduate courses (e.g., MPhil, LLM, Diploma, CASM, or Part III Maths, MBA, PGCE, etc.)
  • Taught and research-based Master’s programs of various durations (including M.Sc., engineering, medicine)
  • Second Bachelor’s degree as an affiliated student/senior status
  • Bachelor’s degree program
  • Secure admission to the University of Cambridge or the University of Oxford through the university’s standard academic procedures (Note: OCSI cannot admit students or assist in this process).

Note: Applicants expected to graduate in the award year are also eligible to apply.

Benefits:-

The Oxford and Cambridge Society of India is providing scholarships for admission to the University of Oxford and the University of Cambridge. The available scholarships are as follows:

– The OCSI K.K. Luthra Memorial Scholarship, valued at INR 2,50,000, can be utilized at either the University of Cambridge or the University of Oxford.

– The OCSI Anita Banerji Memorial Scholarship, valued at INR 2,00,000, is tenable at either the University of Cambridge or the University of Oxford.

– OCSI Nirmal Luthra Memorial Scholarship, valued at INR 4,00,000, is tenable exclusively at the University of Cambridge.

– The Emmanuel College Cambridge (India) Scholarship, worth INR 2,00,000, is tenable at Emmanuel College, Cambridge, courtesy of Nikhil Sawhney and Sumant Dhamija.

– A scholarship valued at INR 1,00,000 is tenable exclusively at St. Hilda’s College, Oxford, courtesy of Ritika Dhamija.

Note: Additional grants and funding opportunities that become available by June each year will also be considered, making candidates eligible for such grants.
