Common Admission Test is a big exam in India for getting into top Management colleges. Different IIMs annually conduct it in turns.. CAT has three parts: one about English and reading, one about understanding data and logic, and one about Math. A Candidate gets 40 minutes for each part, making the whole exam 2 hours long.
Eligibility For CAT :
To be eligible candidate needs to have completed their Bachelor’s Degree or be in their final year exams, with a minimum aggregate score of 50%. The degree should be from a university recognized under Section 3 of the UGC Act 1956 or an equivalent qualification acknowledged by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India.
Way to Apply for the Exam:
- Visit iimcat.ac.in, the official Common Admission Test website.
- Click on ‘New registration’.
- Input your details: name, date of birth, nationality, phone number, and email ID.
- Utilize the provided ID to fill out the application form.
- Furnish personal and academic information. Upload a recent passport-size photo and signature as per specifications.
- Select preferred MBA/PGDM courses and IIMs.
- Choose 6 CAT test cities based on preference.
- Complete the process by paying the exam fees through credit/debit card or net banking.
