Symbiosis Entrance Test: Symbiosis International (Deemed University) administers the Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) for undergraduate admissions in various disciplines like Engineering, Economics, Computer Studies, Mass Communication, Liberal Arts, Law, and Management. The university enables candidates to access the exam application form, admit card, and results online through an online application process. The SET conducts the exam across India in a Computer Based Test (CBT) mode.Each exam consists of 60 questions, with each question carrying one mark. The test evaluates candidates’ aptitude across four distinct sections. Symbiosis University conducts two SET exams: Test 01 and Test 02.
Eligibility Criteria For SET:
– General Category applicants need at least 50% marks in their 12th standard (or equivalent) exam from a recognized board for SET eligibility.
– SC/ST candidates require a minimum of 45% marks.
– Applicants can apply even if they are appearing for the qualifying exam but must submit their passing certificate during the admission process.
Selection Process in SET:
– The first step in the SET selection process is appearing for the exam.
– The SET admit card will be available on the official website.
– Selection for the Personal Interview (PI), Written Ability Test (WAT), or Studio Test-Personal Interaction (ST-PI) is based on SET exam marks.
– To be eligible for admission to any undergraduate program, attendance in all components/tests of PI/WAT/ST-PI is mandatory.
– Only candidates participating in all components/tests of the selection process will be considered for the merit/wait/reject list.
– Absence from any component/test renders candidates ineligible for SIU’s undergraduate degree program selection process.

1. Start by registering online after clicking the “Apply Now” button on the official website.
2. If you’re already registered, click “sign-in”; otherwise, click “register”.
3. Upon clicking “register”, you’ll be taken to a new page where you must carefully read and agree to all instructions.
4. Fill in all required details like your name, date of birth, category, mobile number, email ID, etc., and upload a scanned photo and signature.
5. Proceed to make payments using credit, debit, or net banking options.
6. Once you receive confirmation, save the page and take the necessary printouts.
