The SDEF Scholarship (Swami Dayanand Charitable Educational Foundation) offers scholarships to talented students in India facing financial difficulties. These scholarships are for undergraduates studying at any public or private university in the country. The aim is to help very smart students who can’t afford college fees. The foundation wants to support students who have done well in entrance exams despite their family’s financial struggles and have gotten into good colleges.
Eligibility of SDEF Scholarship:
- Available for students in various fields such as engineering, medicine, architecture, etc., and other undergraduate courses.
- Applicants must have achieved 75% or above marks in their 12th-grade exams or have a CGPA of at least 7.5.
- The applicant’s annual family income should be less than 6 lakhs per annum.
Documents required for SDEF Scholarship:
- 10th and 12th-grade mark sheets/certificates
- Academic transcripts showing semester/term-wise scores
- Seat allotment letter and rank letter
- Copies of fee receipts
- Copy of scholarship letter or education loan documents, if applicable
- Proof of residence such as a ration card or parent’s ID
- Copy of valid ID proof
- Proof of family income like salary certificate/salary slip or income tax return form for the last 3 months
- Documents related to agricultural land or pictures of the shop, if applicable
- Copy of electricity bill
- Education loan documents, if taken
- Rent agreement, if applicable
- Four photos each of the inside and outside of the house, and a family photograph
