Ways to Apply for an Unmarried Certificate in Tamil Nadu

An Unmarried Certificate is a government-issued document confirming that a person is not married, serving as official proof of their single status when needed. This certificate can be applied in the e-Sevai Tamil Nadu portal and the Certificate can be obtained from the Tahsildar / Deputy Tahsildar in their Taluk

  • Self-deceleration

How to Apply?

STEP 1: Click on the ‘Option’ button next to the entry you wish to select.

STEP 2: Click “proceed”.

Fill the Form:-

Section 1: Application Form

You cannot change the application details.

Section 2: Current Address

You cannot change the Current Address details.

Section 3: Permanent Address

You cannot change the Permanent details.

Section 4: Contact Details

STEP 1: You cannot change the contact details.

STEP 2:Click “Submit”.

Unmarried Certificat

(The system will direct you to the document uploading page.)

STEP 3: Attach the required “Documents”.

STEP 4: Click ‘Make Payment’ for Rs. 60.

(The system will direct you to the payment page)

STEP 5: Click “Confirm Payment”

(The system will direct you to the acknowledgment page.)

STEP 6: Click “Print Receipt”

The picture below displays the preview of the acknowledgment receipt.
