The SBI Youth for India Fellowship, offered by the SBI Foundation in collaboration with several esteemed NGOs, provides bachelor’s degree holders aged 21 to 32 with the chance to address significant rural development issues by living and working with local communities, fostering transformative leadership. Selected fellows will receive a readjustment allowance of ₹70,000 and a fellowship completion certificate.
Eligibility Criteria for SBI Fellowship :
- Must be an Indian citizen, a citizen of Nepal or Bhutan, or an Overseas Citizen of India (OCI).
- Must be between 21 and 32 years old when the program starts.
- You have completed a bachelor’s degree before the start of the program.
*Note: Applicants without an Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) card should visit the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India website for OCI registration. Since the process can take 1-3 months, it is advisable to start the OCI application as soon as possible, ideally when beginning the Fellowship application.
The application process for the SBI Fellowship:
- Click on the ‘Apply Now for SBI Youth for India’.
- Register: Click on the ‘Register’ button on the right-hand side of the dashboard and provide the required details. (Note: If already registered, log in using your registered email ID.)
- Apply: Navigate to the ‘Apply Now’ button and click on it.
- Submit Details: Fill in the required details and click on ‘Submit’.
- Online Assessment: A link will be sent to your registered email to begin the ‘Online Assessment Stage’.
- Complete Application: Fill in the application form with all required details, answer the essay questions, and upload any relevant documents.
- Final Submission: Submit the completed application.
