The NSP Central Sector Scheme for School Students (OBC/EBC/DNT), facilitated by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment in collaboration with State Governments and the National Scholarship Portal, aims to support high-achieving students in the OBC, EBC, and DNT categories financially from Class 9 through Class 12. Successful candidates will be granted a scholarship of up to INR 1,25,000 per year.
Eligibility:-
To qualify, the applicant must:
– Belong to the OBC, EBC, or DNT category.
– Be enrolled in Class 9 to 12 in a public (Central/State/Local Body) or aided school, or a private school.
– Applicant’s family should have an annual income of INR 2,50,000 or less.
Benefits:-
– The scholarship covers tuition fees, hostel fees, and other essential educational expenses.
– Students in Class 9 and 10 are eligible for a maximum of INR 75,000 per year.
– Students in Class 11 and 12 will receive INR 1,25,000 annually.

1. Please select the ‘Apply Now‘ link provided.
2. Go to ‘Applicant Corner and select ‘New Registration‘.
3. Click on ‘Click here‘ for Scholarship Schemes hosted on NSP for AY.
4. Read the guidelines, choose the undertaking, and click ‘Continue‘.
5. Choose the state of domicile, scholarship category (pre-matric), scheme type (scholarship scheme), and gender, and provide applicant details like name, date of birth, mobile number, and email ID.
6. Enter bank details (Bank name, IFSC Code, Account Number).
7. Select Aadhaar or Bank Account Number as identification and click ‘Register‘.
8. Verify the mobile number with the OTP generated.
9. Log in using OTP and complete the application form.
10. Upon successful submission, receive an application ID and password for future reference.
