Vidyadhan Tamil Nadu Plus 1 Scholarship Program

The Vidyadhan Tamil Nadu Plus 1 Scholarship Program is an effort by the Sarojini Damodaran Foundation to assist Class 10 graduates currently enrolled in Class 11 at recognized institutions in Tamil Nadu. Established in 1999 by SD Shibulal (Infosys Co-founder and former CEO) and Kumari Shibulal, the program aims to financially support underprivileged students, transforming their lives through contributions to higher education. Selected students stand to receive an annual scholarship of up to INR 10,000.

Eligibility:-

To be eligible for the Vidyadhan Tamil Nadu Plus 1 Scholarship Program:

– Completed Class 10/12 examination in Tamil Nadu.

– Achieved a minimum of 90% marks or a 9 CGPA in the Class 10/12 examination (for disabled students, the cut-off is 60%).

– Annual family income should be less than INR 2,00,000.

– Disabled students must have a minimum of 50% marks in Class 10.

Benefits:-

Chosen students will be granted an annual scholarship of up to INR 10,000.

Documents Needed:-

To apply, ensure you have:

  • Recent photograph,
  • Scanned copy of 10th mark sheet,
  • Scanned copy of Income Certificate from a competent authority (ration card not accepted).

Note: If the original mark sheet is unavailable, a provisional/online mark sheet from the SSLC/CBSE/ICSE website is acceptable.
