Admission Process:
To complete the KV admission for Class 1 online, follow the outlined procedures.
- Visit the official website of the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan at kvsonlineadmission.kvs.gov.in.
- Select ‘New Registration’.
- Provide the required details, including the student’s name, parents’ or guardians’ names, date of birth, address, and other relevant information, when filling out the form.
- Top of Form
- Press the ‘Submit’ button.
- Upon successful enrollment, you will receive a unique login code for access.
- Select your preferred Kendriya Vidyalayas (KVs) from the list of schools available and choose up to three schools from the provided options.
- Complete the rest of the required fields on the KV application form for the academic year 2024-25.
- Please upload essential documents like the student’s photograph and birth certificate as part of the application process.
- Once you have filled out the admissions form, proceed to submit it, and then click on the preview tab to review your submission.
- Before finalizing the submission of the KVS admission form for 2024, carefully review all details to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Upon Successful submission of the application form, a unique application submission code, separate from the login code, will be assigned.
Eligibility Criteria:
- For Kendriya Vidyalaya Admission 2024-25, it is a requirement that the parents of the student must be Indian citizens.
- In the academic year 2024-25, Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) will consider applications from children of foreign nationals residing in India, regardless of the reason for their stay.
Documents Required at the Time of Admission:
At the time of admission, parents/students must present the following documents.
- For admission to Class 1, the appropriate authority responsible for recording births requires a birth certificate to be presented.
- For classes 2nd and above, students need to submit the Transfer Certificate issued by the last school they attended.
- The relevant authority issues category certificates to candidates belonging to specific categories such as SC/ST/EWS/OBC-NCL/BPL.
- Proof of either of the child’s parents’ affiliations with a Member of Parliament, PSU employee, or KVS employee (if applicable) is required as documentation.
- Residence Proof
- Retirement certificate for uniformed Defence personnel
- A civil surgeon, rehabilitation center, or other authorized entity issues a certificate of disability, which is necessary.
- The head of the office signs and stamps a service certificate detailing the number of transfers within the past seven years, including their name, designation, and position, which is required.
